Dear Martini Users,

I am interested to run CG simulations with Martini FF of a protein in a realistic OMM.

I was wondering, what would be the possible optimum composition for representing the OMM bilayer?

I read that the lipid composition of the OMM is not identical when compared with different cell types/tissues? and we might have asymmetries in lipid distribution across the lipid bilayer of the OMM ( doi.org/10.1016/j.plipres.2013.07.002 ).

There are too many things to consider which make me confused about the lipid composition/ratio that I should use to model the OMM for MD runs. Did someone model the OMM before? I am still looking forward to some discussion.

To my best knowledge no one has simulated a realistic OMM.

Your best shot is to decide of a generic composition that would be the most faithful to most cells and tissue types.
